Went to see Toy Story 3 tonight with Mario, mi amigo de salsa (in English with Spanish subtitles). Oh, and it was in 3D! Amazing. Punto.
The best part (the strangely coincidental and appropriate part) was when the toys accidentally reset Buzz into "Spanish mode." Please see video below for absolute Spanish hilarity!
However, having a Spanish Buzz (which did not come with English subtitles in the Peruvian theater) was not the best part. What was you ask? Spanish Buzz dances Flamenco (similar to salsa in many ways)! So, there I am in a theater in a Spanish speaking country with my Peruvian salsa partner watching Spanish Buzz cut a rug! Ha! How cute! I can't wait to see the movie and meet El Buzz en espanol.
ReplyDeleteOnce I watched Toy Story in French - I will never forget Buzz saying "Je suis Madame Nesbitt!" I look forward to seeing a movie/movie theatre at some point on this trip!
ReplyDeleteBahaha! I went to a movie on my birthday. We went to Plan B (The Backup Plan) but accidentally went to the Toy Story 3 theater and didn't realize it until the movie started. Then we left and went into Plan B which was already past the set up. It looks like sticking with Toy Story 3 would definitely have been the better option. (I don't recommend Plan B--the movie one.)
